A new space for food programming in St. John’s
Food First NL and Stella’s Circle are transforming the ground floor of 77 Charter Avenue in St. John’s - and we want to hear from you.
77 Charter Avenue is a city-owned affordable housing building in the Pleasantville neighbourhood of St. John’s. On the ground floor is a 6000 square foot community space now jointly operated by Food First NL and Stella’s Circle, who are about to start fitting it out for its new life. It will be a home for the Hungry Heart Cafe, affordable food markets, food workshops, and more. We want to hear from you on how the space can best serve the community.
Live in St. John’s? Share your ideas in our resident survey.
We’re working with MQO Research to engage the community about what they would like to see happen in the space. Click the button below to head to a short (10 minute) survey where you can share your ideas.
Work with a community organization? Take our partner and stakeholder survey
Community partners are going to be a big part of the work happening at 77 Charter Avenue. We hope this space can become a “home base” for programming from many organizations, so we want to hear what would make it work best for you.
Connect with us at a town hall
We’ll be hosting two town hall meetings where you can come and share your ideas (and some delicious food) on site at 77 Charter.
